Spring or Winter — such conflict!

A new year, a new website, and a new baby to welcome. Happy 2024!

Last month’s meeting was a hoot! We played “bobbing for apples,” and Donna won – with the most apples – the book Witch’s Garden.

November is my month of lists.

I have been loving Kathy Manos Penn’s series, Dickens and Christie Mysteries.

What a fun time we had at our September meeting! We played “hangman” with words taken directly from our book: Robert Thorogood’s The Marlow Murder Group.

OMG, it’s already October. I can barely stand it. The year is going, going, almost gone!

Oh my goodness, I’m late this month with our news. It’s great news, nonetheless. First, we had an amazing August meeting with Kathy Manos Penn.

Having Kathy Manos Penn at our book club meeting was amazing. For me, personally, it was as if she breathed excitement into the craft of writing.

We have two winners for our paragraph contest.

August is always so hot. We get spoiled in July. Most of July is quite pleasant, but then comes August and summer is truly upon us.
