About the Book
One dead body, one very opinionated tea-shop owner, and a whole lot of unsolicited advice. When sixty-year-old Vera Wong wakes up in her San Francisco apartment above Vera Wangโs (no relation) World-Famous Teahouse, she does not expect to find a corpse on the floorโmuch less decide she can solve the case better than the police.
Armed with a Sharpie, a thermos of hot tea, and zero patience for nonsense, Vera quickly collects a motley crew of suspects who might also be something more: friends, family, maybe even accomplices in justice. This cozy, laugh-out-loud mystery blends found family, meddling auntie energy, and a heartfelt look at loneliness, purpose, and second chances. Join us to sip, speculate, and decide whether Veraโs methods are unorthodoxโฆ or just perfect.
