We’re looking forward to each one and encourage you to read ahead. Last month we played jeopardy after discussing our book, For Whom the Book Tolls by Laura Gail Black. The game ended up being like a horse race. For awhile Donna was in the lead, then another member pulled up and had the same number of points. Suddenly, at the last leg of the race and for the tie breaker, Wasylyna pulled up and passed for the win! We were laughing at the surprise ending.

Twenty-seven people joined our group in the last month. We hope to see each one of you at our next meeting. RSVP and get on the list.

That reminds me. We’ve had many people sign up for a meeting and not show up. We certainly understand when “life happens.” It happens for us all; however, not adjusting your RSVP leaves someone on the Wait list who really could come to the meeting and wants to. Please be kind to the other members and let us know what you intend.

We’re asking that each of you to sign up for the blog so that you can get the information for our meetings from it. The Meetup site leaves quite a bit to be desired and is an on again-off again kind of site. The blog doesn’t seem to have the Meetup site’s issues. Simply fill out the block on the first page of the site. We’re adding more and more information as we go along.
